NEED
In response to the PUBLIC HEALTH EMERGENCY declared in 2016, ALL humans are requiring an enriched, inclusive, non-punitive environment to heal from addiction. At Hemi's we also recognize that 1 in 3 women are suffering in silence, and dying at a rate 5x higher then any other demographic with alcohol and legal drug dependency.
GOAL
To OPEN professionally owned and operated, safe, supportive Sober Living Recovery Homes in the Okanagan Valley; beginning with Hemi's House (6-8 bed home)
Your donation will enable us to provide specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and timely care to women facing unresolved trauma and systemic barriers.

Funding is required to establish this vital space in Kelowna. Each dollar raised will be directed towards leasing a house, staff wages, food, programs, and a team of professionals to ensure the most holistic and authentic safe space possible.
Your donation will enable us to provide specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and timely care to women facing unresolved trauma and systemic barriers. This support reduces risks of domestic abuse, child abuse, exploitation, and poverty.

Along with private donations, we are also applying for grants and charity status. In addition, we are also seeking sponsorship and community partners to work with. Our goal is to raise over $1 million to open our doors by the beginning of 2025.
