Marginalized women die at 5 times the rate of any other group in BC's toxic drug crisis. These are the women Hemi's is built for.

Not retrofitted. Not an afterthought. Indigenous healing, BIPOC-centred care, and 2SLGBTQ+ inclusion are built into every aspect of the program.

10 beds. 30-day stays. Tracked recovery milestones. Post-program follow-up. Clear outcomes that funders and donors can measure.

Founded by Dhorea Ramanula — UBCO Community Engagement Facilitator, former President of BC's Black Women In Excellence, and a leader with lived experience, institutional relationships, and community trust.
